A league source informs InsideHoops.com editor Jeff Lenchiner Wednesday evening that the Boston Celtics are expected to trade all-star guard/forward Paul Pierce to the Denver Nuggets for guard Andre Miller and forward/center Nene.

It's not known if other players are involved in the completion of the deal.

If this is true, it makes the Earl Watson signing make more sence. Would be interesting to see Pierce and Anthony fighting over the ball.

Since when can you get a top 5 shooting guard for a top 10 pg...wtf is this..oh and nene who has done what since being like the 4th 5th or 6th pick cant remember which..

I don't think this is a real strong rumor. There may have been some discussions but it's doubtful a deal like this gets done.
Boston already has about 5 or 6 PG's on their roster. They also have young big men like Jefferson and the other C out of HS they drafted 2 years ago. Pierce might get traded at some point but I think Boston would want more than this or help at other positions.

I'd love it the celtics would get their 13th point guard is it? and get less then equal value for pierce so it would weaken them, more power to ya ainge!!! considering we play them a total of 6 times this year also..
