Do Not Sell My Personal Information
You F*ckin Beauty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had to wait and see how this would finish.....

OFF TO THE LAKER GAME I GO.....

GREAT GAME CAVS.....

Pip you missed the scuffle..Smush Parker auditioning for LineBacker for the 12 o clock draft just speared Tim Thomas :chuckles:

Feel the joy fellas... :yay: :yay: :yay:

What an ugly ugly game, but hey we survived. I agree about us having to beat the refs as well as the Wiz- Lebron was clearly calling timeout when he was knocked down.

Homecourt advantage > pressure in Game 4

I watched the game and for some reason I wasn't impressed and I know this was an important win, but it didn't seem to give us any additioinal confidence. I know that might seem weird or stupid, but we really didn't play all that well to get the win tonight. We just played and with Lebron's performance it was enough to get the win. If we want to end this series on a winning note, the Cavs are going to have some sort of production from Z, Hughes, Flip, Snow and the bench.

I don't want to lose or win any more games the way we played today... I hope you all will agree (I know I sound like a downer, but rather I'm just worried about our team)

That's what I'm talking about. What a fan, to miss the start of game you have tics to so you could watch the cavs on tv.

I gotta disagree, it wasn't pretty, the Cavs only led for maybe 90 seconds of the clock, but a road playoff win is a road playoff win. I think the whole Lebron isn't clutch thing is pretty much officially settled now. Also, we took home court back, so the pressure is on the Wizards big time for game 4. A Wizards win on the other hand, would have put an equally huge amount of pressure on the Cavs.

Z has a tough matchup this series, and Hughes is rusty. That's the problem, two thirds of our big three aren't doing so hot. Marshall, Gooden, and Jones have been inconsistent all year, and we don't get offense from anyone else but Flip. Put Z against most other teams and get Hughes healthy and you wouldn't have to see Lebron carry the team on his back.

My bruthas!!! A huge win tonight!!!

Dare I say that more important than the 2-1 advantage is the learning experience. All those tight games in the last half of the season paid off. This team never wilted. It was an ugly game, and far from perfect, but they found a way to win on the road.

What this means for the Wiz Kids (pause for laughter) is this: they played a good game, kept up the D, and lost. They have no more adjustments to make. They relied on Arenas down the stretch, living and dying by his shot, and they lost. They got to the foul line early in the 4th, got Z out of the game, and lost.

My brutha....

My brutha, with much love and respect for your feelings, to win on the road in the playoffs, this is basically how it happens. You keep yourself in the game and take over near the end. Now, the Cavs didn't exactly take over, but they played hard D and made it happen. The vaunted "Lebron Rules" held him to a glaringly low 41 points. Z had a decent game despite the foul trouble, though he can improve. Larry stepped up in the 4th and did all the little defensive things (as did Snow IMHO) to make it a game. Flip was a disappointment, but even he came up with the key steal. In other words, in the playoffs, it's all about crucial plays at crucial times, and this is why the Cavs should be pleased.

Gilbert Arenas is a punk-a** bit**. Out!

Completely and wholeheartedly agree, but I don't think we shook the confidence of the Wizards, but I guess the Wizards don't matter as long as everyone steps up ... Ok I'm convinced enough being a downer thanks for the different perspective :chuckles:

Playoff games aren't pretty. You aren't going to have games decided at halftime. Each game someone will get dropped to the floor, lots of referee's breaking up potential fights. I'll take one anyway we can get it.

Your saying you'd rather lose and play pretty ball then win and play ugly?

No, man, don't diss on yourself. Your point is well-made and taken. But I think the Wiz are thinking two things: 1) Yeah, we could have won it and, more importantly, 2) We let them come back from 14 down and none of our adjustments mattered much in the end. By the end of the game, Lebron was still driving to the hoop and that new-fangled Wizard D was more porous than swiss cheese. They were reduced to taking jumpshots, f-ed up on driving at the end. They're smart enough to know they're not out of it, but I think it's got to be a blow to their confidence.
