I know Tornicade has brought it up, but is there anyone on RCF using it?

The 2nd package mentions FoxSports regional channels, but you have to do the trial to find it out if you get the one for your area.

I'm curious as to the quality, and if anyone has had to use it on a PS3, as I'm afraid of the god awful slowness normally associated with doing anything on my PS3.

Thinking I'm going to give it a go, and if FSN is a channel option for me, I'll report back.

How much does it cost?

Is it for PS4 only, or can you use a PS3/PC?

I have it for the PS3. Picture quality is amazing. It almost feels 3Dish when I watched the Cavs game the other night. I have to Core package, which is $34.99 a month. (70 channels).

PS4/PS3/FireTv/Fire Stick is all I know of.

The package with the regional sports channels is 35..

Nicky, you have Core Slim? Do you have FSN Ohio as part of it?

Gour, the cheapest is 55 channels at 30, 70 channels at 35 and 100+ at 45 unless you live in one of the markets with broadcast channels and it's 5-10 more a month.

I wouldn't mind using it if they had an Android-based app.

Trying to collect as much IPTV as I can so that when I travel I have all the media I want. With an Android app, I could just run it in an emulator on an HTPC.

How does it work, is it linked to the system or linked to the account?

Linked to your Playstation account. It apparently works on Ipads as well. But no Android that I can see, other than the proprietary Amazon shit.

I just got Vue last week. So far, I've been loving it. Using it on the PS4 though, not sure how it would be on the PS3.

Low risk, if you don't like it you can cancel it.

ABC/FOX/NBC only being on-demand is a bummer though. So can't watch anything live, sports included? And no CBS? That doesn't bode well for Browns games or ABC basketball games.

The rest of it sounds really, really good though...especially if the picture is really good.

This also sounds real good:

You can watch on up to five TVs simultaneously from one account. Unlike Sling TV, which is limited to just one stream, Vue lets you stream to more than one device at the same time. Currently the limit is one PS3 and one PS4 in the same house, with additional simultaneous streams using Fire TV or iOS devices, up to five total streams at once. That means your multi-TV household can all watch something different at once, provided you have a fast enough Internet connection.

...

But can you stream simultaneously from different IPs?

You could easily just route one IP through the other using a VPN on your router or home PC.

Would be very interested to hear feedback regarding the picture on Fire Stick/Fire TV.

Wait, sports aren't live? ABC is actually the one channel I don't have to worry about right now because it is like one of the 5 channels I get through an antenna. But that is all I got. So the only NBA games I can watch on tv are ABC, otherwise I have to find a stream online like I have been for the last like 10 years.

And I thought on demand means you can still watch live but can go back and watch it again if you want. I'm confused.

Tv tuner. problem solved.

or you can get USTV for free . vpn or no vpn.

Seems like they are phasing in platforms but a sony Smart TV or tablet will work as well.

I think its a btter deal than the sling TV based on the 5 devices allowance on its own.

Btw X I got a netger powerline 1200 for like 40 bucks. it runs 1 gig like a charm.
