I have considered buying a DS for Pokemon. I downloaded a rom called Pokemon: Dark Energy and it's fun.

The thing is once you get hooked on Pokemon you can't just stop playing. You want to see what new additions there are in the next game. You want to play the remakes to be nostalgic.

You're with the series until you die, or it does.

As for these remakes, I'll hold my breath until I see gameplay.

while its been long enough since i played ruby and sapphire (they came out when i was in 5th grade, im out of college now) that id play the same game in 3D, it would be lazy as fuck of Gamefreak to simply do that, so I wouldnt buy it out of that principal. However with sequels to BW and with how well received X and Y have been, I doubt they just make R/S/E into 3D and call it a day.

Even back to the main point, they have Pokemon tournaments at my school where at least fifty people show up. I go back to my point that it is a game made for all ages. If you guys want to rag on people for playing certain video games, why not choose a more gender specific game?
