RB Ruben Droughns.

Wasnt really expecting this, but he is 7th in the NFL in rushing. The Browns have decided to pound the ball and Rube has done that. He will be our first 1,000 yard rusher since 85 (barring injury), I just wish he was a half step faster and we would have an NFL elite back.

LB Andra Davis
On pace to have almost 200 tackles. Just named AFC D Player of the Week. Needs to be more of a playmaker, but solid season none the less.

DE Orpheous Roye
Leading AFC DEs in tackles. Doesnt have a lot of sacks, which might hold him back, but he is having a very solid season.

Speak to me.

Leigh Bodden wont be there but he has been playing like one. Top 10 isn't elite in the NFL? In a game where 2nd stringers like Larry Johnson and Marshall Faul roam? I wasn't aware..

Top ten performance for this year...but elite backs are Tomlinson, Alexander, etc..

Rube isnt even close to them...but we have a solid back, which is good news.

First, Rouben has a shot at being the alternative this year, but probably not because it will probably be Larry Johnson because the whole media has been all over his nuts.

Second, I though Roye was leading the ALL the NFL DE's?

roye should get in. i voted earlier and i couldnt believe how many tackles he has. its not that his total numbers are that great, their is just a huge gap between him and the next DE. However people see DE as pass rushers not tacklers so he wont get it.

if anyone goes it should be roye, than davis than rube.

mac you got to let green go my man. i wanted him to be the guy as bad as you do but rube is just a freaking stud. flat out. if he was the guy from day one and got all the carries he would have 1000 yards as we speak.

CDT im glad u noticed it too.i think bodden deserves a lot of kudos.he came in for baxter and has done the same if not better than baxter.also chaun thompson is finally coming into his own i believe IMO

Bodden has been toasted a lot as well. I hope to resign him, he is a RFA but since he was undrafted it really doesnt matter. Id like to see him back here as a backup, nickle guy over Mickens.

And Cali, ive let Green go. I bashed him wayy back in the begining of the season....I dont know where you were for that one, but Ive been a supporter of Rube. Im with you, who ever starts, I want to have 200 yards a game and win.

But as for Roye, he might lead all the NFL DEs in tackles, but Im just throwing out his comparison against AFC DEs, since that is who he is going up against in the voting.

dont say ruban is not even close to those guys because ruban is alot stronger then them and u dont believe me watch last weeks game and the game aganist the steeler lol, and ruban came to an all new team and is about to get 1000 yards thats great. he is going to be in clevleand for a while and i believe in about another year or 2 if he is able to gwt alittle more speed then he can be a top RB easy.

roye is in a tricky situation, it seems as if he should be counted as a DT but he isnt. it reminds me of ben wallace, who goes to the all-star game as a center.

lol, dude.. :chuckles: :chuckles:

Rube is NO WHERE CLOSE to Tomlinson or Alexander. Dont even try to say something stupid like that...

He is not stronger than Alexander, not a chance. And look at the Steelers game, 56 yards, wow...great game there buddy.

Dont take this as a bash on Ruben, but he is a middle of the pack RB.

There isnt one GM in the NFL that would take Rube over those two, James, McGahee, Portis, Holmes, L Johnson, R Williams or even the two new studs like Ronnie Brown or Caddy Williams on pure talent alone.

Rube is in the same pack as Willie Parker, Thomas Jones, Julius Jones, Rudi Johnson etc..solid backs, but not NFL elite backs.
