With most off the Spurs starters sitting out this should bode well for the CAVS. I am as excited as I can be for a preseason game.
Is it just me or is their more emphasis/ interest this preseason year compared to the last few years for all the NBA? Last year I could have cared less but with all the changes in the roster and the coaching staff it makes sense why it would intrigue us CAVS fans this year.

It's a good opportunity to not get blown out and keep our head in the game. I like these games because we can sort of gage players v. other players who might be similar yet still try to run an offense and learn/experience more.

I didn't watch any pre season games last year so yes, it is more interesting to me this year than the last 5 years.

Seriously....what fun is it watching us play against scrubs....I'd rather see what out guys are made of.

Then again, going against motivated scrubs might be better than going against vets who don't give a hoot.

This is the first time in three years that I haven't been at the Cavs' pre-season game at the Pete. I went to the Dallas game last year and the Boston one the year before, but I had to stay late at work today and have to be up at 6 am tomorrow. Oh well, at least SA is resting everyone so I wouldn't have seen much.
