• 
  Do not get injured, we have a long season ahead of us and we need everyone to be healthy.

• Guard play will be important in this game, Billups usually controls everything from the outside but will also try to back down smaller guards in the post which he is very good at. When Stuckey is running the point he will try to push the ball more and penetrate to the basket, so its our guards job to try and limit him from driving down the lane where he is most dangerous.

• This is my first game preview so hope it was up to par, enjoy the game!!

Taking a break: Brown did not anticipate playing Gibson almost 28 minutes in the first of back-to-back games. Gibson and the Cavs regular starters won't see as much action in Detroit on Wednesday as Brown gives more minutes to his bench

Pistons coach Michael Curry will treat Wednesday's exhibition game against Cleveland like a regular-season game.

Expect the starters to play regular season-type minutes against the Cavaliers at The Palace at 7:30 p.m., but not as much the next night. Atlanta visits The Palace on Thursday, also at 7:30.

So for the cavs we might see the regular starters but for very limited minutes and for detroit its says they are gonna play their starters for extended minutes like we did today. Could be a blow out tomorrow........

Amir Johnson starts at the 4 for the Pistons with Sheed at center and McDyess to the bench. Back to back game so I guess we'll see the bench getting a few more minutes. This may be the last time Jawad and Dupree see minutes.

I'm guessing we'll the usual rotation till late in the 3rd when he'll go to the fringe players and those short of a gallop.

I watched Dallas-Detroit preseason game. Dallas were up by 15 in the 4th and they were playing with their reserves. Then Detroit put their starters in the game. They just wanted a win and they get it. They're taking this preseason thing really serious.

I could see a young team doing this to try and culture a winning attitude and winning atmosphere, but this is a team that's been pretty much one of the elite 5 teams in the NBA over the last 5-6 years. Does Curry really think they need some preseason wins to boost their confidence or to get the players to believe in him?

If so, I feel a whole lot better about our chances to win the division this year.
