not to take anything away from zeller, hes been good so far, no complaints. very efficient. but PJ can do so much more on the floor. hes a difference maker he can make things happen. zeller jus goes out there and adds a few buckets but doesnt really leave an impression on the game.
kyrie, waiters, and PJ would be a dangerous 1,2,3. and PJ would add size. you can put him at 2,3,4, or even 5 being 6'11. would definetly cause match up problems.
Zeller is a solid big. He really doesn't do anything exceptional, however he also doesn't have many weaknesses. We should be able to pencil him in as a backup 4/5 for the next decade - in the NBA Draft are there players available with more upside potential, of course. But sometimes the best players for your team are the players who don't leave an impression on the game. Garbage points, hustle stats - stuff away from the box score, but is an integral aspect of a championship team.
I think PJIII has all the tools to be a dominate player - OKC was a great organization for him to fall to - that might have saved his career (going to a team that has strong player development, championship aspirations).
