just had a question about the 1 time relief a team can get from releasing a player. i know if say the Knicks release Alan Houston Dallas with Finley they will not have to pay the L-T but they still count against the cap. however my question is will those teams still be paying them their salary? or does that figure just count against the cap? just wondering because if the Knicks are still paying Houston his 14 mil or whatever he makes he could sign with a team like the Pistons or Spurs for the Vet minimum and get paid twice to try and win a championship. i know this doesn't really effect the Cavaliers but i was just wondering.
