There’s no “good” option imo.

-> get a “good” player and you have to ship out assets and disrupt chemistry. because consequential players are getting sent out, Also taking on more years of salary probably.

-> get an old vet like Rondo and he won’t be as good as Rubio so the team stays worse off than it was before Rubio.

-> do nothing and Pangos is playing a lot. Garland gets run into the ground and the season is viewed as punted.

All things considered, I think we chose the best worst option here.
