Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I felt myself losing track of plot elements because I was so busy taking in all the visuals. Different characters in different styles. DIfferent characters in different frame rates. It was all so good.

I did take the time to admire Rio Morales and how hot she was drawn. Damn.
Gwen’s world was the most beautiful thing I’ve seen in an animated movie. The way the watercolor backgrounds were changing with her mood, damn.

Across the Spider-verse is so far and beyond any animation I've seen and will hopefully be recognized as a masterpiece to the genre. There's a sequence featuring the whole Spider-verse chasing Miles that I can see just being watched on repeat and slo-mo just to catch everything.

No spoilers, but what's incredibly admirable about the movie is that they are accurate to the mythology of Spider-man, yet perfectly define Miles Morales as someone "does his own thing". As a lifelong fan of the character these two animated releases are far and away the best portrayals of Spider-man and through the brilliance of definition by negation are pure to Peter Parker and Miles.

Geez, that next MCU movie will be like a wet fart after watching this one.

If I can indulge myself to describe myself as a movie watcher, as if anyone gives a shit:

-have never cared about super-hero movies
-have a huge appreciation for demonstration of groundbreaking skill

It is very, very rare I find myself getting excited about movies. I have never once gotten excited about a superhero movie.

I don’t remember being this excited for ANY movie. Maybe Where the Wild Things Are because it was my favorite kids book.

I can’t wait to watch this with my son. I now understand what all the Matrix and Star Wars dorks were pissing their pants about when I was a kid.

Art aside, they made Miles' emotions so well animated. He was smart, cool and unique compared to other characters.

"Nah, imma do my own thing"....then he does something pretty cool (I won't post for the sake of spoilers); was epic as shit.

Director came out and said the next film takes places 10 months after this one. I can't wait to see how they bridge that gap.

Did you guys see yours in porn theaters as well?

Seems weird that this is where I’m having to get tickets.

Well, It's also not called "Into the Spider-Arse".

For real though - my family went yesterday for a matinee and I'm already planning to go again before the end of the summer. My kids will be glued and I just want to appreciate all the small details in the background. We also need to talk about the score - cutting edge artists must have been lining up after the first one put Post Malone over the top, and it sounded perfect.

I have a work trip coming up Thur and I plan on seeing it by myself when I have some free time.

Gotta second the Spiderman love. Its the best animated movie I've seen in a long long time. Storytelling was excellent. Enough fan service to keep me satisfied. Characterization was realistic and flowed well. Good balance of action and humor. I thought Guardians 3 was the best MCU in a few years and this one blows it out of the water.

My only complaint is they made my boy Pavitr super cringey but its a minor complaint overall.

Folks, go see this movie. You won't regret it

I'd have a hard time being persuaded this and the first aren't the best two superhero movies of all time.

Gotg3 I also thought was fantastic, and arguably the best marvel film, but this was a tier above.

Logan still has it for me personally. Unless you want to count something like robo2
