Who do you believe had the most positive impact in their first year as a Cavalier? This can be off the court as much as on.

Hands down, Anderson Varejao. The crowd loves him, the TV audience loves him, the women love him, I love him, we all love him.

I took Anderson Varejao, just from Drew Gooden. We all pretty much knew what Drew could bring to the floor even though he did exceed most expectations. What gave Anderson the nod, was his infectious energy. He changed the way his teammates played, and the pace of the game. The excitement he brought to the Gund was only 2nd to LeBron.

As much as I love AV, I have to go with Drew. Drew came in and worked hard to become the kind of player everyone wanted to be. He gave consistent effort on the boards and was able to provide us with another scoring option. I think we would have been lost without Drew this season.

I went with Gooden. I think he exceeded expectations. Despite the occasional boneheaded plays and brain farts he was the newcomer who put up the best and most consistent numbers.

I like Varejao's hustle and upside but he didn't always produce each game and I don't think had as big an impact as Gooden.

I have to admit I didn't think much of Gooden coming in, thought he was underachieving on about the same level as say, a Stromile Swift. But he played hard, never broke down, came back from a demotion playing even better. Definitely made losing Boozer a lot easier.

He produced consistently without running many plays for him. Love the double-doubles and blue-collar work ethic.

Would have voted for AV if he played more.

I took Andy V, but you could go either way with him or Gooden. We give Gooden a lot of crap because he does do stupid things, but he was solid all year.

If not for the injury, I'm sure Luke would have won it hands down. It's amazing how in December, I didn't think it was a big deal that he was going to miss the whole year. We really could have used him. I look for him to do some big things next year.

Gotta be Drew - if we did not have him to replace Booze, we would have been in a world of hurt. He came in with HUGE shoes to fill, and he filled them more than I expected. Without him, we aren't even in playoff contention.

You have to go with Drew...everybody thought the season was over when we lost Booz, but Gooden has gave us some hope at the four spot. Almost avg a double double, cant deny what he did stats wise.

AJ was a great bench player, but you cant get past 5 and 5..

Depending on what you mean by outstanding it's either Gooden or Varejao. I picked the former as more of a standout than the latter because of his greater productivity. But if outstanding is synonymous with surprising, then the latter.

There was a lot of good news in Goober, Snow, AV, and Pavs. And I think Traylor gets points for heart and showing up no matter what. If I am a GM I keep all of those guys as hey are not the problem. But I have to give it to Goober, because he came in with the pressure to replace Whathisname, and he did a good job.

I voted Gooden. I believe he exceeded all expectations that were placed upon him and made most of us fans forget about our old PF. I do believe that Andy is the man of the future, but he didn't get enough PT to warrant my vote.
