Redd resigns with the Bucks

Looks like it's official:

The Bucks reached a deal with free-agent guard Michael Redd worth $90 million to $96 million over six years on Thursday. Redd had visited Cleveland on Wednesday.

The Bucks will also hire Terry Stotts as their new head coach

well if this is true it doesn't hurt to throw a max offer at Johnson and see what Phx does. still would like to see a run made at Hughes as well.

Since Hughes is unrestricted, I think he becomes the obvious next target. The way things are going I say simply give him a max contract and see what happens.

If he wants to stay with the Wizards atleast make them have to eat another max contract on top of Arenas and Jamison. We would have handicapped both the Bucks and the Wizards for future years. Atleast a small consolation for not getting our guys

Well, Redd had his chance. Once again, the world has proven that a few extra bucks will sway people's decisions. Goodness, the pun.

I respect it though. Redd wants to be the #1 option and build something himself. He's been telling his fans all season he was going to stay, and possibly retire a Buck. No reason to be a jackass and not have faith in the organization that drafted you.

Too bad they're doomed. Stotts as the coach? Jeez, what a blow. He had success as an assistant in Seattle, but not ultimate success. He sucked as a head coach, even though it was in Atlanta. Still, if he was the real deal I would think he would have had a solid head coaching job sooner.

Meh, whatever. They'll be a good division rival.

I am really suprised redd would resign with the bucks, I mean i thought James and him were tight. It really seemed he would come here, sigh. Oh well i dont think he was worth the max anyway, a player such as JJ or Hughes is, and I hope we can get one of them.
