Robin Lopez: Joining his twin

He needs minutes.

He is usefull in the right matchups or with injuries. I wouldnt be shocked if he doesnt play tomorrow. Porzingus and Gafford are not good matchups for RoLo and its the 2nd night of a back to back.

Gafford cant shoot,but way more athletic, Actually Wade could gaurd Gafford no problem, I expect to see Wade get the backup big man minutes tomorrow.

It’s nice that the Cavs finally have a goon that will get physical, especially when little guys are seeing what they can get away with.

I’d like to see him influence Allen in the same way. Like Allen, Lopez is a funny, nice guy, but he knows how to get mean on the court beyond when he dunks.

It's easy to take sports too seriously sometimes, and the result is sometimes more sadness than joy. Lopez is a great reminder that it is supposed to be fun.

It’s the minimum, so it doesn’t matter, but Lopez is pretty much cooked in terms of being a regular.

Actively bad rebounder and doesn’t really protect the rim at all.

He’s a novelty act with his Captain Hook stuff, which admittedly can be kind of fun, but you’re gonna be really lousy if he’s playing regular minutes.

He’s a spot minutes guy only at this point.

Great chemistry guy though.

I thought he was too slow in preseason, and while he is not super quick, he has been better recovering than I thought. He was just in vet mode. He may get roasted playing drop in certain situations, but he can still play a lot of teams.

No reason to shout.. I am not sure the tiers of player quality are all that different. Love our guys, but I am not seeing huge gaps of talent between the top ten teams. Might be the most parity I have seen in the league in a while.. the only given is that OKC and the Lakers both suck..

I disagree. Even if you are correct about us being in a completely different qualify tier, "worse" teams do beat "better teams" with some frequency in the NBA.

Lopez saved us with that shot. Hero of the game!
