Round 1, Game 2 | Cavaliers vs. Pistons | April 21, 2009 | 8:00 PM EST | TNT/FSOH

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
So we all going to act like D WEST wasn't playing during the choke?

;)

Well, if this series goes more than 4, you can blame the bench that resuscitated a Pistons squad that was absolutely dead in the water.

At least Brown has something to bitch about in practice I guess.

I was going to bring this up, but shied away from it.

On a side note, can I get a video of LBJ kissing the fan? I missed that.

our problem with the bench today was delonte west....he played at pg and he did nothing....he made 2 straights To's and really did nothing...Thats why we felt down...

West was great as a starter (7-12, 20 pts) but bad as the leader of the bench bunch. He's been playing heavier minutes than almost anyone else, too. 41 more tonight.

I was surprised they didn't give more responsibility to Wally when things were going south. The Cavs bench played badly tonight in the 2nd half but that was definitely not the worst unit we've thrown out there. They had some ball-handlers, shooters, etc. but were just off their game and not able to compete with Detroit's bench. Good thing the Cavs starters were so much better than the Pistons.

I think that MB need to give more credit to Wally when our bench is playing in the 2nd or 4th qtr....Because boobie and west playing bad and forcing things and trying to be the leaders...

On another note, Mutumbo's career seems to be done. He went down and is in pain.
He's being taken out on a stretcher. I hate seeing this type of thing to anyone.

lol for real? for some reason this made me laugh

I'm glad the Cavs ended up with the win. I, like many of you (and definitely Mike Brown) am very unhappy with how they ended up winning. That was some serious garbage time and the Cavs played like garbage. Two things: LeBron and Mo had to come back into the game and the Pistons have some sort of revitalized hope going back to Detroit. We had a chance to rip the heart out of the Pistons and failed. With some adjustments and the proper attitude, the Pistons could give the Cavs some tough games at The Palace.

Or, if this series goes 4, you can credit the bench for getting the Cavs to refocus and really get the job done. Possible.

I don't see the Pistons gaining that much from tonight unless they're going to swap their bench and their starters, to be honest. We only lost by 12 after trailing by almost 30 doesn't sound like a victory cry. If they had won, it would be different, of course.

We'll see how the next two games go. Elite teams mess up and win ugly games. They also win game 3 on the road in a series like this.

D.West is great as a shooting guard with point skills, but he wasn't looking like point at all tonight. He is one of the league leaders in A/TO ratio, yet he had two turnovers in the first. This was just not his day for ball handling. As a former shooting guard, I've been there.

We will be adding a third PG in the offseason. Book it.

Is there a video of LBJ kissing the fan? For some reason I really want to see this and I don't know why.

I'm serious. Can I get a screen shot of LBJ kissing the fan? I need a good laugh right now.
