Round 1, Game 3 | Cavaliers vs. Pistons | April 24th, 2009 | 7:00 EST ESPN

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It was ugly at the beginning but we got it done. A win is a win.

Terribly ugly game very often, but the championship-level defense the Cavs played at times was pretty remarkable. They weren't at their best tonight, and they still won by double digits against a veteran team on the road. Mo and Delonte couldn't shoot a lick (although they contributed in other ways), and yet the Cavs won going away without them.

Some teams (hi, Kobe) start the 4th quarter with a big lead and blow it. Other teams start the 4th tied and go on to take the first 3-0 series lead in the 2008-2009 playoffs.

If anyone's upset by certain elements of tonight's game, think of what it's like to be a Magic fan right now. :chuckles:

p.s. oh, yeah: thank you OKC for JOE SMITH !!!!!!!!! What a pro.

Joe Smith brought it today in a BIG WAY. What a beast. Danny Ferry EOTY for getting him.

Man crush for Joe Smith overtaking Delonte man love.... must fight the urge....

Ron Artest in attendance? From BW's Twitter page.

Huge fight in stands, some guy cold cocked another guy and he went down two rows. Players all watching.

Sorry if this was already posted.

If we don't re-sign Joe Smith...I might cry a little.

So, what's a good place to buy a broom in Detroit?:D

Thank God for NBAtv. Now I actually get to see post game interviews.

Wtf happened to Mo and Delonte? 1-18 ain't gonna cut it against playoff teams (which the Pistons are not).

I knew we'd pull it out but im kinda glad the game is over
