we got a 6th pick just moving down one pick and I'm thinking that wasn't really worth it... I think we didn't take full advantage with the trade a 4th or 5th would have been nice, but who knows

savage is smart: he didn't want ngata or bunkley as much as wimbley, so he let balt. make the move up 1 spot, got a sixth out of it, and still got the guy he wanted the whole time. Nice.

lookin at the draft pick value chart, the #12 pick was worth 50 more points than the #13 pick. Even getting the #1 pick in the 5th round wouldn't have gotten us 50 points so we didn't get full value to move down one spot. but atleast we got something to go with the player we wanted all along so it was a good move.
