Round 2 Game 1 | Cavs vs. Celtics | May 1, 2010 | 8:00 EST TNT

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Great halftime adjustment on Rondo by Mike Brown as well. I don't know if he'll get any credit there, but he should. The Celtics completely stopped going to that, and once Rondo was shut off, they've got nothing out there. Lebron checks Pierce. Garnett is never going to score more than 20-22. And Ray Allen only shoots on spot ups.

This game was too close for comfort: Celtics blowing some easy looks helped mask some shitty defense by Lebron and Shaq in the 4th.

And how many layups did the Cavs blow in the first half?

No, this was more of a case of the universe evening itself out.

Anyone think the Speed Stick dude isn't on some "supplements?"

I don't care, though. I love that guy.

Celtdick fans wanted a flagrant called when Shaq fouled Rondo

no way. i remember shaq once said in an interview: kobe is a corvette and he is a stone wall, what'd happen when a covrvette hits a stone wall? i think that scenario applies to rondo too.

This was the Celtics best chance to steal a game in Cleveland. We really can't play any worse at home...

lol @ CC Sabathia on a Subway commercial. The new Jared.

Shaq with a clutch performance in the 4th, who would have thought?

When the game ended I was sweating profusely, and I have spent the entire game in my computer chair watching the game. This Cavs team does weird things to my health/well-being.

Shaq wants that ring. Don't sleep on him at all. He's still shaking off the rust and getting his conditioning back. This guy was scoring 20 this year and rolling some nice games for the Suns last year. No one can stop him in the post, still.

When Kenny is whining about no Hack-A-Shaq, you know he mad the Celtics lost.

Just a few observations I made about tonight’s game and I am sure they have already been discussed.

The key to tonight’s win was our defense in the 2nd half, the Cavs held firm in the paint and didn’t let Rondo attack the rim. I thought once they flustered him it spilled out to the rest of their roster being shut down and Pierce was just plain bad.

Mo fucking Williams, what a great offensive game from him…that stretch in the 3rd was like LBJ possessed his body, he got us back into the game.

What an amazing clutch performance by our team, I thought AP’s 2 steals were also golden when he couldn’t get going offensively he did it on the defensive end.

Can we staple Kenny Smith’s mouth shut now?
