The other ridiculous thing these talking heads ALWAYS say,

"IF Chris Bosh decides to come back, he could be the turning point in a game against Cleveland."

Not going to dispute that Bosh is a fucking hell of a player, but he hasn't played in two months and supposedly he'd just jump back on the court and be in tip-top? It's unreal the shit that's spewed.
Let them have their fan fiction.

This. I remember him saying the fastbreak of Irving (where he ran in front of Teague) should have been an offensive foul. As if the refs were not doing the Hawks enough favors already.

The game prior, the same thing happened, and it was called against the Hawks. An offensive player with a ball, impeding progress of a defensive player behind him by slowing down to initiate contact is an offensive foul.

Hubie didn't say anything wrong.

To me this was the most impressive win of the post season by far.

We just humiliated them right before coming home. All momentum is on the Hawks side. They come out hot, we fight back, then they kill it in the 2nd.

We fight hard in the third to keep it close.

But, with Lebron on the bench, Kyrie takes over and brings us close. I well rested Lebron help lead us to a double digit victory.

By all normal playoff accounts, this is a loss for us. This team was very impressive and a huge honorable mention for Frye.

What talking heads are still saying this? They've already announced Bosh is out for the playoffs.

I was going to come here and write a soliloquy. I mean how do the Cleveland Cavaliers win this game? Being down by 11, down 9 in the 4th in Atlanta with the Hawks seemingly in control for the better part of the entire game, but I won't come here and wax philosophically, I just saw this as hustle.

To be honest, I am not so sure this team last year would have won this game but they found a way. The mental fortitude to stick to the game plan and not let the ebbs and flows of the game dictate your play was key.

Cleveland scored 22 of the final 27 points to end this game after, seemingly, letting Atlanta get into an offensive rhythm for no apparent reason and can only be described as a cat playing with a mouse before they eat it.

I mean after dropping 25 3s the last game, they drop 21 tonight and every one of them was needed and mainly contested. Mix into that how they crashed the boards (55) and forced Atlanta into 2 for 12 and 4 turnovers to end the game with a combination of that stretch lineup with Frye out there who did just what he is supposed to do on the offensive end (not to THAT extent).

Atlanta doesn't have much to go off of, it looks as if they are shooting blanks at this point.

The most important thing I saw was the mental weakness and possibly break on their faces. They get down by 10 at any point in game 4, they will give up. I not only want to beat a team, I want the Cavaliers to break their spirit in the process.

I'm still having a hard time believing the Cavs won. What was an ugly game for the much of the 2nd and 3rd (turnovers galore, absentminded defense, missed free throws, stagnant offense) was fought through with persistence by the Cavs. This left room for the Cavs' strong, determined effort in the latter half of the 4th that clinched the game in an impressive turnaround fashion.

A couple of notes:

-I felt like Kyrie and LeBron were oddly absent for the first 3/4 of the game. There were times when I forgot they were on the floor...

-Hack-a-Thompson really seemed to work against our momentum tonight (what little there was at times). But with Thompson's production on the boards, I'm not sure how you solve that.

-Other than JR's Tech, I agree with the ESPN announcers in that he played the game the right way and didn't try to force a repeat of his Game 2 performance.

-The calls seemed awfully one-sided at times. The Cavs could barely move without an offensive foul being called, but Delly gets pushed to the ground head first in the second half and the refs are silent.

-I was originally skeptical how long it took Ty to return LeBron to the game in the 4th, but Ty's decision to keep LeBron on the bench for as long as possible paid off. LeBron looked really rested and effective upon his return.

-I really liked how, during crunch time in the 4th, the ball kept moving. The Love three-pointer near the end of the game was big (not to mention Love's good look at the one a few moments earlier that didn't fall), and I seem to recall a handful of other assisted shots that weren't often seen late in games only a few weeks ago.

-Love's block of Teague's shot near the end of the 4th was huge, IMO, and nice to see from someone who has struggled at the defensive end. Love seems to
continue to improve on this end.

-While this game didn't feel nearly to the level of Game 2, the Cavs still hit 21 3's, which would have tied the playoff record had the Cavs not broken it 48 hours ago. I find that the most amazing stat of the night!

I agree that this was the Cavs' best win of the playoffs so far. I don't think the Cavs of the regular season would have won this game, but they seem to be strengthening as a unit in the postseason, and I hope this game will help the team take another step in that growth process. Overall, I feel much better going into an early Sunday game in Atlanta up 3-0 rather than only 2-1.

So do the Cavs lose focus and give up a gimme in game 4? Or is it close for a quarter and turn into a massive blowout?

Are the Hawks spirits crushed?

If there was any game to lose focus and lose it was this one. Cavs should close this out tomorrow.

Game 1s and after long rests were also the banes of LeBron teams. G1 was also a game to lose but somehow Cavs adapted to win to every game that they could have lost.

Also...first team in NBA history (regular season or post season) to hit 20+ 3s in back-to-back games...but the media will almost assuredly continue to say "the Cavs can't keep this up"...
I mean they litterally can not be wrong about that
