Damn, I'm actually really excited for tomorrow. The fact that LeBron took full responsibility for the loss yesterday, saying "put [the blame] on me" in the postgame interview while looking really confident when talking about the next game makes me think he's going to mercilessly destroy the Bulls tomorrow. Anything less than 35/8/8 on efficient shooting will disappoint me.

I see LBJ proving to the doubters tomorrow that he's still the best damn basketball player in the world.

He'd better, because falling down 3-1 in a series because you didn't bring it every night, or had a "feel out" game would be more than unfortunate. I understand that with Love and the margin for error that he provided they'd likely be up 2-1 right now, but they had time to realize he wouldn't be around.

i know right! maybe i can blab abit now..

people saying that gasol out might be bad news for us because of more gibson + mirotic are dumbbb...

yes, they didn't use him much late in the last game, but it will SHOW in long stretches of a game if he's missing.. remember when we didn't play love much at the end of games and we survived and everyone thought he wasn't as important? well look how that turned out..

i know CHI's bench is deeper than ours.. but love was our 3rd option, i haven't checked stats, but i'm pretty sure gasol is their 3rd leading scorer, although his defense isn't elite, when they go dry on offense and can't get anything going, he would usually come up with something because of his offensive capabilities.

if he doesn't play - good, if he does - he might only be limited, hopefully cavs go hard at him and expose him if he's got lingering issues.

If Gasol isn't playing the Cavs can and should just go really small. God I hope they do it. Put LeBron on Noah and let Shumpert or Smith just stay with Mirotic. And then expose both of them on the other end. Start Shumpert and Smith.

EDIT: You know what, start James Jones too. He can hide on Noah's corpose. LeBron can guard Mirotic. Spread the floor and just go at whichever guard Mirotic is trying to check.

I mentioned this in the Cavs vs Bulls thread but I feel like we went back to what didn't work game 1 with all the defensive switching. Game 2 was great because we pushed through screens, stayed with the guys they were supposed to defend, ect. Even on offense there wasn't as much LeIso and KyIso. I don't know whether it's coaching or stubborn player, but we need to exploit the LeBron vs Butler matchup more and use Shumpert on Rose. I'd actually be fine with a lineup of Shumpert, Smith, LeBron, TT and Mozgov just for defensive purposes.

Let's all hope that the amount of anxiety/nausea I feel is positively correlated with Cavs wins. Because if that's the case today, we're winning by like 150 points and going on to win the NBA championship.
