Round 2, Game 5 | Cavaliers vs. Celtics | Tuesday, May 11 | 8:00 ET

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Any chance the Cavs were told to lose game 5 and then they win game 6...for financial purposes? So many sweeps...TV ratings and ad revenue...is money to the nba.. I wouldn't be surprised by this.

Oh an off night!

okay!

well, that settles it...pack up the trucks...no reason to continue the presser

He thinks Andy and Jamison are a "small" lineup? We have to be SMALLER than Boston for it to work. LeBron needs to be at the 4 in a "small" lineup, make Garnett guard LeBron or Parker, that will open a ton inside.

Brown is talking like its the preseason, ho-hum, we're do this and that, blah, blah,
blah.

Talk is cheap unless you're Dan Gilbert signing the checks for these pansies.

I would have preferred Mike Brown to be kicking and screaming, but at least we know he hasn't given up on the team yet.

I don't even care anymore. I give up on this team. I quit. I know I am irrational right now, and I don't give a damn what anyone else thinks about what I say. Mo Williams is the worst remaining PG in the playoffs. Jamison has been a non-factor. LeBron is making his case for being the next guy who just couldn't get it done in the playoffs. Our bench is once again disappearing.

Of course, Shaq shows up for the playoffs. He always has. But what does it matter if his supporting cast is garbage. Who knew we could count on Shaq more than we could LeBron.

I feel bad for guys like AP and Moon. They come here and give it their fucking all because they finally feel they have a chance to win it, and everyone else plays like absolute shit while AP has to sit their and watch Mo Williams get abused by whoever he isn't guarding.

I really do not even want to win these next 2 games. All it would equal is a 4 game annihilation at the hands of the Magic. This team is done. At this point, what does it matter if LeBron comes back? Has this guy ever stepped up in a huge game and willed his team to a win. OK, so he did it against the Pistons. He did it ONE time. How many chances has he had though? Game 7 against Detroit; the entire Finals against SA; game 7 against Boston; game 6 against Orlando.

Sure, I want LeBron back. At least we would get to the playoffs, which is more fun than not making it. But even if we want to blame LeBron's supporting cast, how exactly can we improve it? We are booked in terms of salary cap, have 3 aging big men, one player considered a good trade piece, no draft picks, and we don't have any players that we can bank on having a huge improvement next year except Hickson, and he is the young trade piece.

That's why we are Cleveland people. Now watch LeBron go play for a shit cast somewhere else only to turn into a basketball god and will 11 smurfs to an NBA championship.

/fucking rant...

Meh, I'm strangely very calm after this loss...This series isn't over but it almost feels that way after tonight's game.

Despite the regular season record I almost expected this kind of outcome to the season after they chose not to fire Mike Brown after last year's playoff debacle to Orlando. No matter how 'Mike Brown' proof they make the roster he is not a championship caliber coach. I think all the players from LeBron on down can see this..

Even so I won't blame this loss on MB. LeBron just doesn't have that Kobe/MJ type desire to win that is necessary in the playoffs. The entire team came out lifeless tonight and it starts with LeBron.

In a League that's bleeding money, a team with the best player that everyone wants to watch? Of course. If the lies that are covered up now ever get exposed, I think a lot of people will be upset they were so gullible. Call me paranoid, but the LeBron that was out there tonight was not a LeBron that had any desire to win. There's a reason he doesn't attack, either he truly is hurt, which I don't buy for a second, or he's throwing games. It really is that simple.

Anyone know if you can go to the Q thursday to watch the game.
