Some of the garbage in this thread does warrant a response like this. I could understand if this was a closeout game and the season was officially over. I'm not proclaiming or guaranteeing a comeback in this series, but my God, give it a chance. You're looking at a Celtics team that actually had more wins on the road than at home this year. I'm not going to give up on the team because of this game.

The effort was pathetic tonight and the team deserved every boo they got. But to say shit like "welp, always next year," or "good, I hope LeBron leaves" when Boston takes a 3-2 lead is fucking pathetic. No one is asking you to applaud this game... in fact, critique it. Tear it to hell, but to give up on the series is faithlessness. At least wait until the final second ticks off in a closeout game to become such gigantic pussies.

Ummm we have gone 46 years without winning a championship. This kind of shit happens all the time. You expect us to keep our hopes up? This is a defense mechanism for Cleveland fans.

A lot of people have been speculating that all of this elbow talk is just a ploy for him to leave. He'll probably have a tearful press conference, profess his love for the city, and announce he is going to the Knicks. He won't be a total dick and he'll probably let Cleveland do a sign and trade. It's easier for him to do this if he lays a stinker in his final home game. I'm not saying I believe that, but some of this stuff is beginning to become questionable.

But let him go to New York. It's irrelevant.

Maybe an S&T is better for the Cavs. LBJ looking like a perennial loser after these playoffs.:chuckles:
