Dude Savage is gone. The Atlanta GM is apparently going to take over. This is so ridiculous. The Browns prove again to be the biggest joke in football.

President Collins was just on WTAM saying that he Was not fired nor would he be. I guess that is good news although it doesnt mean that he wont "resign". I guess I still have some hope.

It's now looking like this story isn't true. It does seem Savage will be staying.

It would be a idiotic if Savage was fired after 1 season. I do think the main problem with the Browns since their return in '99 has been exposed. The Lerners have been terrible owners. They (1st Al and now Randy) hired terrible management and coaches and appear to be clueless in how to run a pro sports team. It's been like a continuation of the Modell ownership.

Lerner and those close to him in upper management like John Collins need to just sit back and let Savage and Crennel run the team and do thier jobs without interference.
