Seattle @ Cleveland

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It was just a dumb decision to schedule an AL West team to come in here the first week in April... since this will be there only visit to Cleveland it will be hell trying to fit that other game in... unless they go with a 2nd doubleheader on Monday, which is HIGHLY unlikely. They should have just finished that game yesterday.

On the bright side, anyone with tix to yesterday's or today's scheduled game can now pick up free tix to any other home game this year

Anyone see the Santa Claus looking fellow on channel 3 yesterday named "Bud Light" :chuckles: giving away 2 free tix..

for the record there are 6 days during the season teh indians and M's have off on the same day, include 4 of those in the first 2 months of the season.

nice pictures chief! i expected to see less people with the snow and all. its great that those of you with tickets actually went to the game... devoted fans with great spirits!!...

Haha Seattle is going to have to fly back 4 separate times to play the Tribe.. :chuckles:

They have to forfeit 4 off days...I can't wait for them to play Oakland at 7:05 West Coast Time and fly to Cleveland Ohio to play us at 1:05 or 4:05.

That's what you get for complaining and getting a game called 1 strike from completion..

The entire series has been shut down. Damnit this is frustrating... what will this do to our rotation???

CLEVELAND -- The Cleveland Indians announced tonight's (April 9) scheduled doubleheader against the Seattle Mariners has been postponed due to inclement weather.

Fans must hold on to their tickets from entire Seattle series (April 6-7-8-9) for potential makeup games or use for a ticket exchange for any remaining 2007 regular season home game at Jacobs Field. An announcement will be made shortly on the rescheduled games.

Indians player rep Casey Blake took part in a conference call Tuesday about rescheduling the four games the Indians and Seattle lost to snow at Jacobs Field last month.

Blake said three of the games will be played at Jacobs Field and a fourth will be played in Seattle in September. Blake had to leave the call to take batting practice and did not know if the dates were finalized.

"They want to make sure Cleveland gets at least three gates," said Blake. "And they want to avoid doubleheaders."

He said if they played a day-night doubleheader in Seattle, the Indians might be able to keep one of the games.

May 21 and June 11 are two common off-days for the Tribe and Seattle.
