Seattle @ Cleveland

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I hope we beat the hell out of them tomorrow...we had that game won their pitcher couldn't buy a strike..they hadn't hit off Byrd all game..Byrd had a no-no going away in that one..

This never would have happened to the Yankees..

Check out these pics I took of the nightmarish weather:

The last one goes to show what a beautiful ballpark the Jake really is..I'd like to see them do something different with the park in Center field though..

The park is rather bland I'd like to see some sort of waterfall or some kind of mountain like the Angels have..

They actually just opened Heritage Park behind there today. I just got a glance at it today but it looks pretty cool. Should've taken some pictures...

Wow that's pretty neat...kinda like the Yankees Memorial to their purchased players..

The Jake is by far one of the nicest stadiums in the league..

I can't wait to see the Yankees new house though..Steinbrenner is going to have vibrating bleachers :chuckles:

All our coaches worked with our SP with runners on base, mostly Byrd. They sized down their delivery styles, so Vic actually has a chance that these guys.

Damn the place was freaking packed with the blizzard.

How could they let Hargrove get away with that? How, how, how. One strike away, the game is over, and they let Hargrove get a mulligan at this game. I do understand the unfair competition, but one strike away and a 4-0 lead, with Byrd throwing fantastic other than walks (he had found the strike zone again). One pitch, and it's over.

I swear we better win both games in the double header, and I hope both Grady and Pronk hit 2 HR's.

Cleveland gets ****ing screwed once again. Bull shit.

Also game are postponed today. A co-worker told me that for the rest of the season that every off game we have that Seatlle plays and vise versa. Wonder how this will work out. I guess they are doing a double header tomorrow but still may not beable to play and they still have that other game we already won to make up.

The Jake is hands down a top 5 stadium in baseball... I've been too several.

Yankee stadium
Fenway
Wrigley
Dodger stadium

None of the above compare to the Jake.. Granted they all have that nostalgic feel to them, they're boring...

The best ballparks that compare to the Jake are the following:

Pirates ballpark is beautiful..
Padres ballpark is beautiful..
Giants ballpark is beautiful..

I don't like the Diamondbacks ballpark, and even though Orioles park is compared to the Jake, I didn't like it, and I don't see the comparison..

I've heard good things about the Rangers ballpark, but I've never been there... I would like to see the Astros one in person as well..

However, I still feel the Jake is the best.. It has the most unique design out of most...

4 open days.. But any of those days when we are both off. It's hard because they are all the way in Seatle. Which could cause some trouble.

3 games snowed out in 2 days..unreal..think this through for 08 MLB Schedule Makers..

I agree PIP I love the scoreboard as well it was the largest one in North America for like 2 years until the Longhorns bought the monster with their Vince Young money..

It's a great park anyway you slice it..I love the drumming dude in left center :chuckles:
