Sixers not interested in Wagner

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
This again? Wagner needs to concentrate on getting his life and health going in the right direction. Basketball should probably be secondary for him.

Wagner does have some talent but like was said, he lacks the work ethic to be a contributing NBA player. Getting by on raw talent alone is fine in HS but not the NBA.
Wagner had some decent games as a rookie but the league quickly caught up with him and he was exposed. I doubt he ever does much of anything in the NBA. Injuries have played a role in his performance but 6-0 SG's struggle to make it in the NBA. He also hasn't been able to hit barely 40% of his shots since HS.

since when did casey blake play basketball.

Oops.. I guess I meant to say Cleveland Uniforms

Talent or not, Wagner has a lot of issues beyond basketball. He let them interfere with developing his potential and now he has to deal with a snowballing set of health problems. He got his shot at the big time, which he earned before the draft. For a lot of reasons including many of his own making, he did not make it. Now he has to climb the hill again, and it will be tougher. So he will start it up in the NBDL, or the CBA or in Korea or somewhere, riding the bus instead of airplanes, staying in the motel 6 instead of the hyatt, and getting by moneywise rather than making millions. Assuming he can stay healthy, focused on what he needs to do, he has time to make it back to the nba. IMO it will be a tough road to come back as a 2 guard. He would be much better suited to the point, but it could take him three or four years to "get" that position..
