So Long Jordan Clarkson ( aka Chucky McJumperson)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
don't agree this season that that assessment is accurate. Historically I agree to some extent esp the tunnel vision ( and that is all he was asked to do here last season anyway, not facilitate)
This season he still is being asked to score first ,but he is also expanding his role as a facilitator and it's his teammates that need to keep up with him. I saw a couple occurrences where a big was out of position clogging JC drive to the hole then made it worse not moving to the correct position to get the pass from him when he lost his dribble because of the bigs first mistake, and noone else came to the ball forcing him to throw a bad pass.He would have been better off just dribbling out of it and shooting a circus shot given those facts which is often the case.

Dude, what are you talking about?

Expanding his role as a facilitator? he is averaging 0.8 assists PER 36 on 29 USG% ?!?!

He has been terrible in the first two games despite averaging 17 points on .534 eFG%. 106 ORTG 120 DRTG -2.7 OBPM -3.1 DBPM. Guy is dragging this team down. He is worthless.

No one was clogging his lane. Zizic was giving him a lane to drive and time after time he couldn't even make the easy pass to the rolling Zizic.

He is turrible.

Clarkson, Hood, and Thompson

3 players who I wish we could just cut and move on from. We are basically keeping all 3 of them with the same wish:
That some GM will give us ANYTHING of value in return.

I’d rather cut our losses and play Nwaba and Zizic and JR/Korver more. At least JR and Korver have actual trade value.

I disagree completely. Zizic was out of position at least twice when he was on the floor and JC was controlling the ball.
You misunderstand I think the need for players who can create their own shot and who's passing ability is not necessary as that is not their job in the offense.
I think it's pretty obvious distributing the ball is not JC's strong-suit, but I believe as he has shown since being a rookie that he is more than capable of making passes when his teammates get to their spots.

You and I will not get along well.

My Jordan stat of the day:

I watched most of the game and looked at what happens every time Clarkson touched the ball on offense. In all of these offenses:
Number of points scored by players other than Clarkson = 0

I might have missed one or two of course. But this is crazy. Every time he touches, either he scores or we lose the ball. It may not be an immediate turnover. But eventually that set does not produce a point.

That said, I still think Lue is the mother of all shit and Hood is the first to go.

I just enjoy shitting about Clarkson because he is a unique player in professional basketball. I have never seen anything like this.

Clarkson is shooting 53.7% from the field, and is a NET negative on offense (and of course on defense as that's a given).

Think about when this guy reverts to his career 44% FG and 53% TS to go along with zero defense, zero passing, zero awareness of anything.

FFS.

Lue saying he had loved Jordans play had left me with no illusions
He liked it because Jordan was being aggressive, and playing with pace.
AKA being a ball hog, and not playing any defense.

My thoughts on Clarkson and JR.

Chuckers. Useless on a team that is rebuilding. Need traded to a 'contender' that's dumb enough to pay up for them to come off the bench and jack shots.

he at least fuckin anyone worth lookin at right now?
