I mean, outside of you being able to place sports bets at casinos and stadiums now...from an app perspective, why does this matter? It seemed like tons of my friends were already using Fan Duel/Draft Kings/etc before even when it was "illegal" here.

So how did everyone get away with it before? And what does it being "legal" now change (again, from an app perspective) ?

A lot of my buddies had been gambling but they had to go through a bookie who was had some kind of setup that let them put in bets even though they were still located in Ohio.

I was on the app last night during the Buckeye game and it legit had me locked out of everything until midnight and I have to re-log in every time I use it because it geotracks you to make sure you're in a legal spot.

Up $400 on the day, left about $800 more on the table if some combination of 1 more reb for Jokic, 3 more points for Tatum or 1 more reb for Horford hit. I was a little lose on parlays but it was a fun first day. Time to buckle up and play smart.

There is a lot of free money out there right now to be had. Not only is there sign up bonuses & referral bonuses, but there are also shit they use to promote the new state legalization. Tomorrows game is Cincy just needs to score 1 point to cash. Can bet up to $100 to double your money. While still a risk, it is minimal IMO. Today one of the sites had Cleveland vs Washington for +1 passing yard, with a bet up to $50.

Was able to grab Washington +6.5 today when Giannis was downgraded to questionable mid day. Raced to the app before the books could adjust. Line ended up closing at 2.5 once he was ruled out.
