I dont know who this actor is, but he does a hilarious impression of Stephen A. Smith on SNL. Smith has been long due for something like this...

His name is Jay Pharoah. His impressions are pretty spot on. He does a great Denzel.

snl has fallen off a bit, but this weeks episode with mick jagger was phenomenal.. mick is a fucking bad ass and hes like 70.

when i first started watchign the monologue, apparently I hit the slow button and it made mick sound like he had a stroke and i was like.. this is a bad idea... but then things returned to normal and he was a bad asss 70 year old

That was pretty hysterical. Have to give that guy a ton of props for a great impersonation and awesome improv right there.

Ya his Eddie Murphy and Will Smith are perfect too. He did a Kanye one on SNL that was hilarious. The Will Smith one always makes me laugh.

That was pretty freakin' hilarious! Words cannot describe how much distaste i have for Steven A. Smith. He is the complete opposite of how a sports journalist should conduct himself.

Would it not be awesome if he accidentally drove his car off a cliff? Just sayin..

Jay Pharoah is damn good at impressions. Thing is, thus far on SNL that's basically all he has done. They even made reference to this with "The Jay Pharoah Show" where he'd have a guest and respond to every part of the interview with a new impression.

Also, I'm confused by the statement "SNL has fallen off a bit"... From where? This season has been pretty consistent and they haven't lost any major players in a while (up to this year's finale).

EDIT: Originally I said Pharoah was good at impressions of famous black people. Then I thought about how that's a stupid statement because I wouldn't say that Darrell Hammond is good at impressions of famous white people.

I watched Stephen As reaction video to this OP and gotta say I was pretty surprised how well he took it, I thought he would have got a littled heated but there were parts he was practically lol'ing at "himself"

This guy is on First Take right now. :chuckles:

Terrible impression.

the stephen a impersonation sucked, his others are good

Yeah, I really didn't think it was any good. The guys who heckled him sucked too, the only amusing thing was actually watching him eat cheese doodles.
