LaVar would be a nice pick up, but I fully support what appears to be a negotiating stance by Savage. Arrington would be sick, but we've already upgraded our defense so substantially that he's not going to provide the additional benefit that he's surely demanding.

I'm pumped about our D as it is. Not getting one more all-world linebacker won't break us. The money for Arrington might be better spent elsewhere.

Adam Schefter, of the NFL Network, reports the Cleveland Browns might go after free agent LB LaVar Arrington (Redskins).

Schefter still claiming that we are trying to get him. I wouldn't mind at all, a week ago we weren't playoff contenders...now? You better beleive it, Lavar would solidify an already outstanding LB core. With Lavar and company you can basically assure us a top 10 defense . We CAN afford Lavar, we have an estimated 10 million left. Give him 5 the first year a nice signing bonus maybe some incentives and backload it like the rest of the contracts.

In an interview Trevor Pryce said me and Bart both went and checked out Cleveland, we saw the situation <laughs> and we decided to come here.

I know Kalimba was here, I don't have a link but he was in negotiations with Phil in Berea Rizzo reported on Fox 8 and then his gay dad stepped in.
