He is in a practice session with guys he would never have gotten to play against had we not invited him. If he is doing good, why showcase him to other teams, and if not, why put him in a position that will hurt his confindence.

We're really coming up with all sorts of reasons as to why guys aren't playing. I mean, you've just covered all the bases here. No matter how he's doing, he shouldn't play.

I hope he is working them to death.

Dion's offensive game might not take the next step forward this season but Mike Brown will at least make him into a proper defender.

What is up with Goulding? Played four minutes total over two games now. Not that I'm concerned but...its weird.

Anyone not seeing improvement from zeller and waiters are missing alot of stuff.
like proper rotations. strong technique and getting set on the defensive end.

The both look alot more disciplined.. as far as the things worked on in the offseason sometimes that stuff can take awhile to show up. especially when you get a list of things from your coach that he wants to see in these summer league games.

The Summer League team is falling victim to many of the same spacing problems that our team had last year. It is obvious why the Cavs made shooting such a priority in the draft and FA. Bennett, Karasev, Jack, and Clark can all help spread the floor.

Also remember that our "vets" are still learning a new system and really don't have an advantage over their teammates.

Though Zeller looks pretty poor, he is only our 5th big. He isn't too bad for a 5th big.

Jack really needs to start mentoring Waiters.
