Awesome. Now the scheduled exhibition portion of summer league is over, and the tournament portion begins. Since the Cavs went undefeated, we'll be one of the top 8 seeds and get a first round bye. The Cavs next summer league game will be in the second round of the tournament, on Thursday July 17th.

Wiggins has good defensive instincts, but he'll need more bulk to be consistently effective .

Wiggins needs to put on some weight like the poster above said, with his handle and offensive game, it's a disservice to not put on some muscle.

I don't think Grant Hill knew Delly was already on our roster last year.

Yeah, he was clueless as to Delly. To his credit, he gave him serious props at the end of the game:

"My first look at Dellavedova and I like what I see."
"Does alot of the right things"
"Has good defensive chops"
"The kind of guy I would want to marry my daughter"

He didn't say the last one but if he watches Delly enough he will be thinking it. Grant Hill definitely came around for the guy who he thinks could be a good backup for Kyrie.

Wiggins continues to remind me of a taller Sprewell with a even more upside. Yes adding 20 lbs in the next 2 years is very important.

A little sloppy, but that is to be expected in SL with youngins learning a new system on a back-to-back. I think Blatt vs me more excited than anything.

Joey Hoops can shoot. Nothing else. I don't know what you want from him.

I'm being critical, esp. If he has a bum ankle, but Joey needs to move with more aggression and speed on his cuts, and use those baseline screens better if he wants to thrive at the next level. He was moving way too casually. You have to sprinting to your spots.

So even though we went 3-0, if 4 teams of a possible 6 win enough quarters today we could be outside the top 8 and not get a bye in the next round. Not sure I understand the purpose of a quarter system where the final score of the game has no almost no bearing on the standings/seedings. Oh well, at least we might get to see some extra Cavs basketball.
