Summer League Game 6, Cavs vs. Nets, July 16, 10:00pm

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
At least since we're on the odd point, this game shouldn't go to OT

I know this is summer league, but I see a few guys who could be decent players in the league. Liggins, Felder, possibly Putney.

Felder and McRae have both been pretty bad tonight. McRae played great in the first half, but has been horrendous in the second half. Felder has been bad all night. Liggins and Putney have been our best players.

Putney has looked atrocious to me.

Putney confuses the hell out of me. I have no idea how he makes as many shots as he does with that rainbow jumper and slow release.

He's 26, so his NBA dream is probably dead, sorry to say.

Fair enough. I noticed that he's made a lot of clutch 3s. But I didn't know he was 26.

Putney is playing to get a deal with a non-American team, preferably in Turkey or Spain. I imagine he has to know he won't be in the NBA. Nonetheless, he could be a good player over in another country.

Felder ALMOST slammed home that putback.

And as Jon Barry said, his freelancing led to Kilpatrick going straight down on the other end. Felder has had a classic SL rookie game where he comes away with three or four highlight reel plays, but people will forget the 15 mistakes.

Liggins has impressed the hell out of me all summer with his defense, and tonight he showed the confidence to shoot and drive a little. I hope he goes to camp with the Cavaliers. He could make this team.

Yeah. He's 26. Liggins is 28, and a guy I've been pretty impressed with, Gabriel, is 27. I wouldn't be surprised if the Cavs have one of the older rosters in the summer league.

And yeah, I like the look of Liggins as a complementary player more than Kay or McRae at this point. Mainly because Liggins is the best defender out of everyone out there. I am not convinced about his shooting but lets see.

This is the most exciting Cleveland playoff basketball game I have seen in a while
