Super Bowl LVI - Ohio vs Odell

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I don’t wanna hear any bitching about the OT rules. Everyone knows the damn rules so don’t act brand new because you don’t like the results.
Bills had the #1 defense too. There's just no defense for what Mahomes did there.

Josh Allen did everything you'd want your QB to do and the defense gave up the game in 10 seconds. Damn.
Oh well. Sucked that it had to be these two teams before the AFCCG.

I hope the bullshit Brady Project is over after this year. Those two are REAL QB-ing.

The Bills kicked off with 13 seconds on the clock. That gave KC enough time to run two plays and call two timeouts and get in FG range. Had they squibbed that kick and forced a return KC would’ve had the ball with 8 seconds and not enough time to run two plays to get in FG range.
Couldnt a player just land on the squib and immediately call timeout?

So why did they kick the ball out of the end zone and give Mahomes a chance in the first place

I mean, no one thought he'd become this. Guys who are that inaccurate pretty much never fix that issue to this extent.

Super lazy way to think about it. Take some huge generalization and don’t bother looking at the player. The clues to his talent were there in the scouting and the Bills saw them when others didn’t. The reason to have scouts and experts is that they can make those calls instead of taking some fan/sportswriter generalization

Honestly when you look at how live and explosive Allen’s arm is it doesn’t surprise me it took him longer than others to optimize his throwing and get it under full control. Dude has a cannon, those are harder to aim than pistols

The player can call a fair catch but at least two seconds would’ve went off the clock. A touchback takes no time off of the clock.

So Chiefs and Rams? I have no idea who wins that.

Even with the kickoff through the endzone, the defensive scheme and/or execution was just terrible. A screen pass and wide open Kelce down the seam.

They rushed 4 and even Romo was saying they should only have rushed three and doubled Kelce and Hill.

You were right don’t downplay it. Teams spend tens of millions to get the tough talent choices right and Mayfield over Allen was a huge huge mistake. Doesn’t matter if it was hard to see, the experts are supposed to call it.

Have to think this is one of the greatest games ever in NFL history

Actually this is where I think you are wrong... one stipulation with Allen, he had to go to the right system. I felt Allen could be the best in his class but he needed to find the right system and team. Browns weren't stable at the time so he may have not succeeded in Cleveland.

If I can be honest I felt Mayfield was the type of comes out as an 80 but a top of 85, while Allen came out as a 70 but a top of 95 rating wise. But that was a debate from yester years
