The 2013-2014 NFL Regular Season Thread For Other Teams

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Went out of the end zone.

Yeah but the Broncos had possession, he "fumbled" and it went forward out of the out of the endzone. Wouldn't it be a dead ball at the spot of the fumble? Just doesn't seem like it makes any sense.

Honestly, it may Weeden four or five games to throw 6 TDs. Richardson should get the majority of scores in my opinion. I don't see him getting 2 a game.

I just realized he actually had 7 TDs.

That's just the rule, everything was called correctly. You've never seen this call before?

Digest of Rules Main
Fumble
The distinction between a fumble and a muff should be kept in mind in considering rules about fumbles. A fumble is the loss of player possession of the ball. A muff is the touching of a loose ball by a player in an unsuccessful attempt to obtain possession.
A fumble may be advanced by any player on either team regardless of whether recovered before or after ball hits the ground.
A fumble that goes forward and out of bounds will return to the fumbling team at the spot of the fumble unless the ball goes out of bounds in the opponent’s end zone. In this case, it is a touchback.
On a play from scrimmage, if an offensive player fumbles anywhere on the field during fourth down, only the fumbling player is permitted to recover and/or advance the ball. If any player fumbles after the two-minute warning in a half, only the fumbling player is permitted to recover and/or advance the ball. If recovered by any other offensive player, the ball is dead at the spot of the fumble unless it is recovered behind the spot of the fumble. In that case, the ball is dead at the spot of recovery. Any defensive player may recover and/or advance any fumble at any time.
A muffed hand-to-hand snap from center is treated as a fumble.

Any rule that helps the Ravens is a stupid rule.

I heard they were going to finally retire Buttfumble from the Not Top 10. I'm sure the play last night will replace it. :chuckles:

450+, 7TD and I got three points from Eric Decker...smh

I think that may have been the best fantasy football game I've in history though, I can't think of one that tops it aside from maybe Vick on MNF a few years ago.

I had Welker, my Dad had Demaryius Thomas. Great game all around for both of us.

I had Montee Ball in anticipation that Denver would use him as a battering ram at the goal line, but ... that situation never really arose...

I've got Decker too. I had the exact same reaction.

I had turned the game off by the time this happened. wow

I was watch ESPN Sunday NFL Countdown and couldn't believe my eyes. The topic was red flag players. Players who no matter how good they are, are not worth the hassle. Obviously they were talking about Aaron Hernandez and the Patriots. The panel discussing it I found ironic. Tom Jackson lead the panel of Ray Lewis (involved in a homicide), Keyshawn Johnson (the definition of a locker room distraction) and Cris Carter (got run out of Philly and almost the NFL because of his actions).

Also, Ray Lewis looked and sounded the part of an analyst. However, the words and thoughts that came out made no sense whatsoever.

Terrelle Pryor is playing extremely well right now for the Raiders.

Dawson misses his first 49er FG
