Anyone play with opening day lineups yet?
Much like today's lineup:
CF Bourn
2B Kipnis
LF Brantley
1B Santana
RF Moss
C Gomes
3B Chisenhall
SS Ramirez
Depending on if Swisher is be back. He is just now starting to run the bases today.
It probably won't happen due to loyalty but I wouldn't mind having Ramirez or Gomes hitting second.
I always forget the Astros are in the AL. Move Santana or Moss to DH and put Raybern in RF. Book it. Take it to the bank. They'll probably have a DH until Swisher comes back though, right?
My problem with the guaranteed rotation spot wasn't the injury risk, it was that I didn't believe a healthy Gavin Floyd at this point in his career was a better option than what the Indians already had. I'm fairly sure they would have given the #5 spot to House, with Salazar heading off to Columbus, which would have been awful (not that House is bad, but I just don't see any sense in sending down a guy with the upside of Salazar so they could start a 32 year old coming off two major injuries, who before his injuries was an average pitcher at best).Figures. Can't believe Floyd was given a contract with a guaranteed rotation spot.
