The 2019 B1G Championship | #1 Ohio State vs. #8 Wisconsin | December 7th, 2019 @ 8 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Long halftime will hopefully help?

Has nothing to do with allowing 45 yards when the opposing team was content to run out the clock; has nothing to do with failing to adequately pass protect; has nothing to do with the pass being stifled by soft zones (again)

The secondary is getting eaten alive in the intermediate routes too.

What about him hitting a wide as fuck open crosser in the foot? Or just throwing 5 yards over Olaves head for a TD?

How the fuck are we not getting pressure?

OLine is Wisconsin is always one of the best in the nation, plus Coan is hot and in rhythm. The defensive scheme they are running right now isn’t working especially in the secondary.

I spent nearly 4 yrs working up there... give it back to Canada...

it’s actually really nice up there, but then again one of my ancestors was one of the founders of Quebec Canada so I guess that’s why my family likes it there haha

Remember Joe Thomas came from Wisconsin so he was a pretty good player for Cleveland lol

As bad/hurt Fields was, the defense is why they are losing. Nearly 200 yards on the ground. Odds are you’re losing when that happens.

Sorry, bound to forget some things in the midst of a shitstorm.

The Okudah injury is just absolutely massive btw. I dunno what they do about that in the 2nd half.

Defense in general is just... awful.

No pressure on Coan at all. I'm not even sure he's been hit this game. Receivers are basically doing whatever they want. Jonathan Taylor has already rushed for 135 yards on like 12 carries. Two of those carries have gone for longer than 40 yards.

Fields certainly isn't without blame (although he's showing signs of figuring it out), but unless this defense snaps out of it, we're going to be debating whether a one loss, non-conference champion Ohio State still deserves a spot in the CFP, especially if the final margin is massive.

If it's fairly close then there is simply no one else to put in.

If they blow us out then yea, people are gonma br crying for Wisconsin to get in instead.

you cannot ever let Wisconsin win in the trenches when they are on offense. You gotta keep their RBs from getting into holes and right now Coan is hitting his receivers in stride as well. The whole OSU defense is struggling, they gotta make some changes during the half

So I guess we lost because it seems like the game is never coming back on.

There’s no way they are getting in. Technically they split. Ohio State beat them once. I don’t care about this big 10 bs. Ohio State still has one loss, compared to their 2. Putting them in ahead would be outrageous.

The argument woild be, they beat us on a neutral field and we beat them at home. So if its a blowout. Their win is better.

Doesn’t matter since Ohio State still has just one loss compared to their two.
