I know the NBA 2K games have an online mode, but I believe you gotta play as the characters honestly and I am not very good at that. I love the idea, but we arent 100% there yet tech wise/business wise.

Like online modes for MMOs and first person shooters work well but to my knowledge they havent made anything like that for sports.

2k online is basically a bunch of 8 year olds spamming 5 out offense or dribble moves until the CPU gives them an ankle breaking animation.

The game is the definition of a joke.

Such a shame what that franchise has become. Used to be so good.

It's entirely a sim. You can do online leagues.

I wouldn't ask people to buy it just for that purpose.

OG Xbox emulation still isn't great. Cxbx-Reloaded is currently the top dog I believe.

I think it's clear at this point that @CATS44 believes what he believes and isn't going to change his mind. He's been a quality addition to the board so far, and I think it's best to stop (unless you have new facts) before anybody starts getting snippy with each other.

As a note on how I personally view online forums...

I fantasize that I am sitting in a sports bar with all you guys...and gals...watching a Tribe game, downing a few beers (well, maybe not a few), and discussing like crazy all aspects of the game and baseball in general.

I seldom, if ever, take offense. If we were doing this in person, I'd be laughing a lot..as long as the Tribe was winning.

So feel free to fire away. I dont mind at all. I actually enjoy the back and forth, and please dont take anything personal.
