I was very lukewarm on a high percentage of the Browns' first round picks during that era, but I sure thought Richardson was going to be a slam dunk. I thought the same about Brady Quinn though too.

This seems like a great deal to me. Perfect compromise and frankly I thought he would be asking for much higher.

Great deal for both sides. $12 mil per year is a discount for Chubb. And 3 years allows Chubb to potentially enter free agency while still in his prime, while the Browns don't have a ton of money committed to a RB for an extended period of time. Win all around.

Is Chubb worth the same as Elliot? I think he is actually a better runner. Chubb will get a huge amount gurannteed, Browns get a 3 mill discount.
