If you had guys on 1 year, they are automatically gone, correct? You’ll just need to know the guys who had 2+ years, right?
Yeah anyone on the google spreadsheet that says EXP is expiring and will enter the free agent pool. Anyone with 2 to 4 years can be cut at 1/3 of their contract price for the duration of the contract.
So a guy on a three year, six dollar contract will cost you two dollars each of the next three drafts if you cut him. Also note that cutting is final. If you pick a player you cut back up on waivers, you don't get the contract back. You can technically re-sign a guy you've previous cut to another contract in the draft, but again you'll still be eating the previous dead cap.
