I clicked the link, the big O said Green does't have the skill set or motivation to be a good player, he is hidden with a lot of his flaws due to the system he is in w GS w Curry and Klay.

I have been arguing this logic for at least a yr now. Eventually when the love affair ends w GS, they are going to trade him to say Sacramento and he is going to show just how mediocre of a player he is.

I am honestly shocked how confident everyone is...GS has so much fire power. They're also nearly impossible to beat at home. KLove will be exploited and Lue will be scrambling to make adjustments. We will always be hanging around and then they'll have 2 or 3 of their explosions and we'll be down 18 in the blink of an eye. Tristan sucks and is a self-check.
To have ANY chance we will need to steal game 2 because they aren't losing tonight. They're coming in red hot...GS by 20 tonight.

1- we need to out rebound them and crash them on the board, so Love/TT have to man up and be very physical!
2- don't collapse on their penetration and drives. Just stay on Curry and Klay and don't leave them wide open. 3p>2p

If you pressure Curry full-court he's going to blow right by you with his handles and then your defense is in rotation with 21 seconds on the shot clock. You're done.

All of these old players act like the league was at its peak when they played. It wasn't. Players today are degrees better than they were even 20 years ago.

MJ himself said that he wouldn't have had the career he had if zone defenses had been allowed.

I'm not going into this with any predictions, or hopes. We need to stick to our game-plan and not revert to hero-ball when times get tough. The three point shot is a great weapon to have, but against this team we cannot rely on it. Get the ball to the open man, but drive and create more than anything else. Most importantly, BODY UP Steph and Klay. What made Russ so efficient was being right in Curry's face. NO BREATHING ROOM.

Lastly, we cannot come out slow and lethargic. GS will pull away quickly if we start the game like that.

When they do that, something in my immediate area usually breaks. Fact.
I want them coming out piping hot!
