I like these uniforms but don't they need to have Cleveland on the front of the road uniforms?

Naw, Nike’s new system is practically chaos. You can put whatever you want on the front and we may have no Cleveland jerseys.

As someone who collects soccer kits, I completely disagree. A good advertisement, with the right colors, just enhances the design.

I love uniform aesthetics and respect your opinion but personally I cannot abide. The jersey is already an ad for the team, the league, and the manufacturer. Adding any other logos just brings it down every time. The Goodyear logo was at least inoffensive and local, but soccer kits are a travesty and I hate that our pro sports leagues continue to shift in that direction.

Black as a third colour is a lot nicer than navy, especially with gold

I think it also helps differentiate our brand from New Orleans and their navy/red/gold color scheme.

Absolutely, Black & Gold is classic and timeless. Those colors pair better than any other two on the palette.

Yes. Similar to the Goodyear logo, it’ll likely alternate between wine or gold based on the jersey color.

Unless they plan on having gold text with a wine outline on the white uniforms, I think it may be a giveaway to a black uniform.

I was comparing to sponsor logos in general, the Cliffs sponsorship is not that egregious except it’s still an ad.

I would’ve been interested to see what a modernized version of that logo looks like. As much as I like the new rebrand, the one thing it’s missing is a tie-in to the cavalier identity itself (e.g. removal of the sword).

What don't you like? I think the number placement on the front and maybe the proportion of logo size to number size can be tweaked, but otherwise I love them!
