#34 is already hanging above the court.

but to be serious, the chances of getting him are slim, but if we do get one of the big 4 guards out there, i wouldn't mind trying to sneak in JUAN DIXON as well..

i'm pretty sure the wiz didn't pick up the option..

sup with all these threads "we arenet going to keep drew and Z" "we arent getting ray allen"

at least you could find an article to go with this, even if its about gold nuggets he shits out.

:stupid::gtfo:

I don't like this thread either. A whole new thread to tell us Austin Carr's Jersey is retired. and it's in the wrong section.

Infante, why don't we have a :ban: icon :wtf:

thank god this site contains people with a sense of humor

oh wait... it doesn't...

again, i could careless is you like the thread or not.

Ok, moving back to the subject.

Realistically, Ray Allen coming to Cleveland maybe slim. His Sonics made it deep into the playoffs and they are probably a few pieces away from being 1st seed next season.

But.

The Cavaliers have oodles of cash this off season, and if the Cavaliers make an interesting offer, Ray would be stupid to break it. Playing next to LeBron James would open up Ray for so many shots.

I think we have minimal chances of grabbing Ray Allen. Juan Dixon is an interesting thought. He is a combo guard, albeit undersized for a 2 guard. Again that type of player is not priority, but worth keeping in the back of our minds.

Who said 'i' cared if 'you' cared if 'i' liked the thread or not. :chuckles:

Ray Allens a pipe dream, and for people who think ray allen will come here to play with lebron(i'm some of you will take this view point), why would ray allen want to come here to take a lesser role on the team? He's # 1 where he is. Why would he come here and be lebron's shadow? Nothing in Ray Allens career has shown that he is willing to play second fiddle.

But wouldn't be playing 1st fiddle for your entire career going NOWHERE give you any second thoughts?

How long has he been in the league already? Around a decade, and Ray Allen has yet to prove that he can take his team all the way.

Its obvious that Ray holds a great deal of offensive game, but it isn't enough. He is going to need some help to take it to the next level. Someone with equal amount of support on offense. And that equal amount of support is playing in Cleveland with LeBron James.

Glen Robinson didn't help him. Shard isn't helping him. LeBron will.

relax it was a light hearted joke. lighten up

now as far as ray, i don't think he will come here. although a number of teams (all for that matter) would love to have him, there are only a handful that can actually obtain his services.. THE CAVS ARE ONE. plus he's an east coast, midwest guy.. i doubt that plays any role, but it's something to throw in there.

i really started this thread in hopes to get some responses about JUAN DIXON, i like juan and he played very well in the playoffs. he's a very talented shooter and plays pretty good on the ball "D"..

the thing i don't understand is why WASHINGTON didn't pick up the option ? something is up there, considering they're coming off a great year and he's from that area.

perhaps he indicated that he wanted more minutes, in which case this would not be the spot for him, (althought that's speculation).. but in terms of a solid shooter, that can provide instant offense off the bench, he would be a "HUGE" pick up..

Juan is a good choice too, but isn't he a pg?

more of a tweener-- alot like david wesley, cat mobley.

exactly,

in milwaukee nobody really got him the ball (cassell is a shoot first type) and so was terrell brandon while he was there in milwaukee.

i find it funny that ray had argubly his best year with a point guard that was looking to pass in ridnour.

that's the only reason i'm not all for antonio daniels, but i like how ad does "D" up and it's not like he's a terrible passer, just not the greatest.

but that guy that wears #23 can pass with the best of em', i could seriously fall asleep hearing REGHI saying
: " lebron drives the lane, kicks it out to "RAY ALLEN IN RHYTHM" "BANG" !!!

AND Austin GOING "YEAHHHH BABYYYYYY" HA HA.....

The real reason we wont get Ray Allen?

He costs too much money...even if we let Z walk, we wont find a decent C to replace him with the money left over (roughly $5 mil)..
