I know there's a topic already, but if the Cavs make an announcement, link or give us info! Since it's the 4th I might not be home much, so hopefully I come back home and read Redd is coming to Cleveland! (crosses fingers)>_<

I heard there will be an announcement Monday,but does anyone know what time?

I doubt there will be any announcement coming soon. Like has been said, 1 reporter said there COULD be an announcement as soons as Monday, not that there will be one.

I think this Redd thing could drag out. I don't like some reports that think he could wait and see who the Bucks hire as coach. Who knows when that will happen?
It would be nice if he makes up his mind quickly so the Cavs can move on or move forward with him on the team.

Ah, damnit. I thought they were making some announcement.

I hope he signs, or just declines NOW. I don't want the Cavs to miss out on anyone if he decides to go to the Bucks...

Tomorrow starts where Free Agents can visit with teams, so most likely Redd will talk with Cleveland or something and we could see a decision by the end of the week....

Then a couple days after that Id expect a decision.

I suspect at some point the cavs or bucks set a deadline for Redd to decide. They can't afford to wait on him and had Allen, Hughes, etc., all go elsewhere while they wait.

Hey i have been told by someone that knows their stuff that Lebron is working hard wtih his people at Nike to get Redd a shoe deal to offset the difference between ours and Mil's offers. Anyone else hear something of this sort?

I did hear this on another board. I'm guessing Lebron does have some sway with the powers that be with Nike. They don't want to upset their star signing now do they.

You cant do things like these...you are taking things too far when you get endorsements to make up for contracts in a different business.

Well seeing on how nobody can sign until July 22, they have time so we dont have to be worrying about deadlines until then.

man these shoe deals are starting to ruin the league..

it's one thing to have a guy rock a shoe on the court- and to have his own line and all.

but when these bastards start to control where a player signs ? it's gone much too far.......
