Trade Deadline 2022

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
So how are we going to get our info once people have to start paying for twitter? Lol

DEN also gets Chase Edmonds so scratch them off the list of Kareem Hunt potential suitors

Well since Denver isn't good and isn't looking to compete this year, they were never a suitor for a running back on the last year of his contract.

Also, Chase Edmonds isn't even significantly better than Melvin Gordon or Latavius Murray.

What am I missing with Chubb? He hasn’t been that great. A 1st seems a bit high. Now they have to pay him.

thought Miami and the Rams were the most likely landing spots for him anyways
From August:
Here are the starters where I don't think the teams have any interest in trading for Hunt because of talent already in place:
  1. CMC
  2. Zeke/Pollard
  3. Swift
  4. Aaron Jones
  5. Dalvin Cook
  6. Kamara
  7. Saquon
  8. Derrick Henry
  9. Najee Harris
  10. Austin Ekeler
  11. Jonathan Taylor
  12. Javonte Williams/Melvin Gordon
  13. Joe Mixon
Super Bowl contenders we probably don't want to help out:
  1. Devin Singletary
  2. CEH
  3. Leonard Fournette
Tanking teams that should have no interest:
  1. Cordarelle Patterson
  2. Rashaad Penny
  3. Marlon Mack
I don't think these teams care to make a marginal (at best) upgrade, or they just aren't looking to compete right now:
  1. JK Dobbins
  2. Josh Jacobs
  3. Antonio Gibson
  4. Miles Sanders
  5. James Conner
  6. Cam Akers
  7. Breece Hall
  8. James Robinson/Travis Etienne
  9. Damien Harris/Ramondre Stephenson (I just don't see the Patriots trading away draft capital for a veteran RB)
That's 29 teams written off. I don't think Hunt is the best scheme fit for the 49ers/Dolphins. I think Chicago might be the place that makes the most sense.

If I have to bet on Hunt's next landing spot, Chicago and Miami are the two places I'm looking at.

Philly could be interesting play as well.
Nice call. I actually think he'd be a massive upgrade from Miles Sanders.

Sanders still doesn't know how to play running back. He's physically far superior to Hunt, but Hunt is actually going to get what's blocked for him.

Jeff Wilson to the Dolphins for a 5th, Hunt is much better and I'm guessing the Browns would never accept a 5th, rightfully so.

Dolphins swapped Chase Edmonds for Jeff Wilson

Re-pairing him with McDaniel who will use him frequently in short yardage and goal line situations.

I would take a 5th for Hunt in a nanosecond. If I can see his regression, 32 Front Offices can see it as well. The name Kareem Hunt is better than the player Kareem Hunt

Also, his contract sucks for a buyer. Who's paying more than a 5th for an expiring contract on the 14th highest paid running back turning 28 next year who's not playing well enough to justify that price.

Look, I hope I'm wrong here but have to be realistic. 5th rounder, fine. 6th - depends on what Browns think they can get in terms of a comp pick in 2023
