Spurs get: Darius Garland

Cavs do this to fix their backcourt and add a solid wing in the process.
Hawks do this to fix their backcourt and get their picks back.
Spurs get their point guard of the future.

Are the Cavs allowed to trade their farthest out future 1st this offseason or do we have to wait til next offseason? A lightly or unprotected future first that far out is a pretty big asset.

Could we flip Garland and Okoro for Trae Young or Jimmy Butler? I know Trae has a bad rap but the guy can fill up the scorecard and we need scorers. I think our only ticket to keeping Mitchell is taking big swings to surround him with other stars. If not, I think he will be in a Miami jersey next season. Even though after the Pat Riley comments telling Jimmy to shut his mouth might rub some players the wrong way!

You can go 7 years out by league year. I believe the 2031 first rounder is tradeable when the league year changes.

Yeah, I also prefer Vassell to Johnson in a potential Spurs trade. If we could swing that, I'd tried to move Allen for Murphy. I don't think the Pelicans will move Herb.

Assume Mitchell resigns , I can’t think of a better Trade option for two teams to make it happen more then the Spurs, I want guess the Combination, but the Spurs have lots of options that we could like, between there shit load of draft picks and young wings, there a fit here, If they get 2 years ago Garland , who I think was a stud, that could unlock all kinds of possibilities with that team.
