I was bored so I turned the game on, tied four four. Runners on first and third, two out and Millwood pitches and this dude creams this ball....misses a HR by like two feet. Come back and strikes him out on the next pitch.

Lucky lucky..

Then the Tribe goes on to score 7 runs, 6 of which with two outs in the next inning.

Good stuff!

Great win tonight. The offense finally woke up and scored some runs for Millwood. The Indians have had a lot of big innings this season.

The Tribe is in first place for the wildcard :yay: . They are tied with the A's and Yankees.

i started throwing slippers when they tied it up at 4-4. but they made me happy and got the win.

peralta got robbed twice in this game of at least one double and even a triple.

Yeah this team is really coming together. Theyve been streaky this year and this is the first time theyve climbed all the way to the top of the WC. Hope we dont fall apart like we did when we sniffed it last yr.

I dont think they will though. This team is really developing some character. Clutch hits and situational hitting, tough starts, and solid relief along with 1 or 2 BIG innings per game has gotten the Indians back in the hunt. If they can keep playing like this while the A's and Sox fold were in it. Just gotta hope the Yanks and Twins fall apart.

I get the same feeling about this series too. Theres a big chemistry difference between a team that wins 5 in a row and one that wins 10 in a row. If we dominate and sweep here we will have one hell of a lot of momentum working into a dub-digit streak.

The Rays are a team we should be awfully pissed at cause they made complete fools of us a week ago. If weve got the killer instinct it takes to be a p'off team then we will focus hard enough to sweep.

I have pretty good premonitions. I called a Hafner Grand Slam once, it was sweet, I think it put us over the top to win that game. On a separate occasion, I called a Jhonny P double that would put up the first few runs against the Yankees.

lyxo since you brought up calling a homerun i got to give credit to my old man. after we went through all of the sac bunts and tagging to advance runners, or playing small ball, my dad said now after all of this to get one run watch victor hit a home run, and he did. daaaaaaaaaaaa.

Indians win! Wicky closes out the 70th win of the season and we are now 14 games over .500! Wick allowed baserunners as always but came thru in the end. Got a 6 game win streak and since Oak lost we are the WC leaders along with the Yanks who also won tonite.

Coco had a big nite with three hits. One was what turned out to be the game-winning triple. Good to see Blake hitting one out and Boone had a good night too. Another excellent performance by our dependable bullpen.

2 more with the Rays. Gotta win em.
