I'm still confused by that call... we had our chance. Bases loaded with no outs and we only get one run. Oh well, I see us and the Red Sox as the last two teams standing in the AL come October.

It sucks because tonight looks to be a sure loss with Sowers going up against Beckett. Hopefully Byrd can salvage a win tomorrow night.

He was solid last year but has been terrible this year. Personally, I'm expecting the Sox to tee off on him and send him to the showers early. But I've been wrong before.

If it was in Cleveland, maybe there would be a legit shot, but the Sox are on fire, and i doubt some no name end of the rotation pitcher with a 6 something ERA is going to walk out of Fenway with a W.
