Tribe signs....

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'd love to say I gave a shit but uh...I don't he was 8-13 last year..

he also did play for DETROIT. so good luck having a .500 record there. he'll be just as good if not better than Elarton, so I'm not complaining.

ok maybe he won't. but he'll pitch a lot of innings and keep our bullpen fresh. its better than bringing in some young guy to get roughed up.

we also signed einar diaz to a minor league if anyone saw.

like someone said he was on the tigers last season so give him a break and he did have 19 good starts for them, and i think his ERA is lower then scotts was... but idk he will be are 5 pitcher and with our bats ithink he will be ok...

Another brilliant move to push towards the playoffs.

We arent going to make it, this team made no improvements, you can actually argue we got worse. While the Blue Jays improved tremendously, the Sox are sitll better than us and the Yanks are almost a lock in the playoffs. The White Sox improved dramatically compared to us.

Sucks to have this talent and no owner. Now I know what an Oakland As fan feels like.

no body can aruge that we got worse because out great hitting has alot more experiece and bird is really good so is wickman, sure its rocky but he always pulls it out and thats all that matters... yanks are a freaky disgrace to MLB and any player that would go there is a loser bit**... i think are hitting is going to be good and i still say we have the best pitching 5 some in the game with c.c., my homeboy cliff lee, westbrook, byrd, and jason might not even get the job...

i was cool with what you were saying and then you said we have the best starters in the bigs. have you not seen the white sox's rotation, we arent close to that.

byrd and johnson are a couple of guys that shaprio are hoping has another solid season like milwood did. i want them to be good, but im not confident.

im talking about good 5 pitchers with good hitting and the indians i think are the best. u like at the whitesox and yes they have good pitchers although a few of them could hardly end the season, and there hitting is going to be decent but jim thome i love the guy alot and was my fav player, but he will not stay healthy and paul was pretty banged up last season so im not sure he will play as much as last season so they will not be as good as last season... indians im still hoping they get that bat but if not i think we can still get in the playoffs but without someone there to hit avg...

i didnt mention hitting in my post, i was only talking about pitching and last year was proof that the sox had and have the best starting 5 in baseball.

Last time I checked, we didnt even make the playoffs last year. The White Sox did, and only made their starting pitching better, while ours got worse.

Yet, we are better?

How so?

The Indians wont make the playoffs again next year if the roster stands where its at right now. Not enough hitting, relief will be questionable and the starting five isn't good enough.

mac you do have to remember that our hitting stunk in the beginning of the year, i dont see that happening again.

the pitching wont have to be as good because of the hitting, but that doesnt excuse the fact that the starting 5 isnt that great.

another thing we have to remember is that author rhodes didnt pitch that much for us last year, so although we lost howry we instead treaded water with the resurgence of rhodes.

Last time I checked...

Broussard -----> Still on the roster

Blake-------> Still on the roster

Boone ------> Still on the roster

We lost Millwood, Elarton and Howry

We added Byrd, who is not as good as Millwood

We added this Johnson dude, who is on par with Elarton

We added two bats---------> Merloni and Einar

We didn't upgrade the rotation, the bullpen, or the lineup....

WE GOT WORSE.... :thumbdown

WELCOME TO LARRY DOLAN IS YOUR OWNER VILLE! POPULATION US :)

We are banking on the improvement of like grady, coco, and peralta...wtf

you have to remember that boone come on strong towards the end of the year.

do you guys honestly think that milwood would have that good of a year again this year??? highly unlikely.
