Yeah Cali... I wanna face some NBA elite teams..

You'll be getting your wish come Thursday with the Pacers. It was a great win but kinda sloppy shooting though at times.

Indiana is the first team since the Spurs that can match at every position, this will be a true test to see how this team has come along since being annihilated by the Spurs 103-99 cavs pull it out!!

Really not much to see here.

This was a sloppy game, the Celts actually kept the Cavs off the boards, but that first quarter was enough to do them in. The Cavs did show some fortitude and turned it around when the Celtics got within 2. Lebron was just too much today.

The 3 point game never really got going, guys were forcing it up from outside instead of shooting off the kick out. Damon got hurt too, which hurts the outside threat. I would rather see Larry or Lebron run the point when Snow is out and just give Sasha and Luke Damon's minutes instead of having Wilks in there. Windhorst said in his blog that Mike Wilks can dunk, and I do want to see that though.

All in all kind of a ho hum game. I thought Doc Rivers called it early down 12 with 3 minutes to go, but hey no complaints here. The score will say Cavs win by 20, but it was much more competitive than that. Ricky and Pierce always bring a good game when facing the Cavs.

Wasn't perfect but Cavs still played well. LeBron just took over whenever he wanted. For the first part of the season his shot sleection was questionable at times but that hasn't been the case at all the past 2 games. He's been playing very smart and we're once again seeing his great ability to pass and create. Maybe it just took a little time to learn his new teammates.
Best part is when LeBron still scored when fouled hard twice by Pierce. I really can't stand Pierce.

Gooden was big inside once again. His play has been much more smart and consistent so far.
Z was solid offensively but not a great night defensively. Blount posted and scored easily at times.

Hope Jones doesn't miss much time. Cavs need the perimeter threat he provides at PG.

Nothing spectacular tonight, yet we cruised in the end against a dangerous team. We were a little suspect at times through the game which cannot be the case when we meet teams like Indiana on the road.

Hughes and James are starting to form the best 1-2 punch in the NBA. Good to see Drew active as ever and Ilgauskas getting back to his niche of getting to the charity stripe. The bench wasn't overly productive, but our starting five had done enough.

Pretty much, we had no 3 point shooting, and we still beat a team. I was at the game, it sucked seeing the zone deffense on us cause we could not hit the 3.

But I am glad we can beat a team by 22 without a shot (except Larry's).

i had a feeling the Cavs would win big in this one. Seriously though, the schedule hasnt been too tough so far. The @Indiana game will be a good test to how good the Cavs are right now. We had to come back against Philly on the road, and got crushed by world champ SA. We all know the Cavs are a great home team, but when we can win a solid game on the road agaonst a quality opponent, i will know the Cavs are FOR REAL.

A few gifs from last nights game....enjoy.

I don't think the Cavs ever took Boston seriously. Jones launched 3 ill advised threes as soon as he came in that weren't even close to the mark. Had teh Cavs played focused defense like they did against Philly, this woudl have been a 40 point blow out.

Bummer that jones went down with the ankle though. The thought of having to play Mike Wilks for serious minutes against Indiana makes my stomach turn. Though he had a nice defensive stop taking that charge, he played with himself most of the time on offense (0 assists) and lofted an air ball three from the corner wide open. He is definitely not ready for prime time..
